Purchase of Admiral Taverns completes
The Morning Advertiser has reported that the acquisition of Admiral Taverns by Proprium Capital and C&C Group completed on the 7th December. Furthermore, Admiral Taverns has also acquired 17 pubs from Heineken. Fleurets advised Proprium Capital.
Supercity Aparthotels purchases Light
Supercity Aparthotels has acquired Light aparthotel, situated in Manchester's Northern Quarter, according to The Caterer. Supercity has acquired the mixed-use development of 172 apartments, 62 of which are operated as the Light aparthotel, as a going concern, with plans to relaunch in 2018 following a refurbishment. Supercity has ambitious growth plans, seeking a prescence in major cities.
Pho turnover exceeds £25m
Pho has reported a 33.7% increase in turnover, from £19,394,939 to £25,921,767, according to Paul Charity at Propel Info. Furthermore, the Vietnamese street-food restaurant group reported a 6.9% boost in like-for-like sales for the year ending 26 February 2017 as well as a rise in restaurant EBITDA to £5.4m and a 24.5% increase in group EBITDA to £2.5m.
Rockingham Group to open speakeasy in Sheffield
The Rockingham Group has opened its fourth site, Public, a speakeasy-style bar in Sheffield. According to Pub and Bar magazine, the bar is located in Sheffield Town Hall's converted underground toilets. The 40-cover venue will serve bespoke cocktails as well as small plates. Founded by James Hill and James O'Hara, The Rockingham Group also includes The Great Gatsby, Picture House Social as well as Daisy's Bar.
Village Hotels plan for mixed-use hotel scheme
Village Hotels has released their plans to open a new hotel in Chandler's Ford in Hampshire, according to Boutique Hotelier. If approved, the property will mark the group's 30th UK hotel. The plans propose 153 bedrooms, gym as well as a Starbucks and pub and grill, which are soon to be submitted to Eastleigh Borough Council. The Village Hotels portfolio currently comprises of 29 sites across the UK, including their most recently opening in Portsmouth, which launched in November.

Plates, the plant-based cooking concept, is set to open its first London site in Shoreditch in February next year. Siblings Kirk and Keeley Haworth have operated numerous pop-up sites this year, however the 30-cover Shoreditch restaurant will mark their first permanent residence, reports The Caterer.
