Acting on behalf of Country Inns (Southern) Ltd, which operates eight additional sites across the New Forest, Dorset, and Wiltshire, we successfully facilitated the sale of the leasehold interest in the Mortimer Arms. This former Victorian Dowager House, located on the picturesque edge of the New Forest, attracted strong demand off a guide price of £150,000 from a wide range of leisure operators.

Located on the edge of Thorpe Waterville, Northamptonshire the Fox Inn occupies a main road position on the A605 and was sold on behalf of Red Oak. The property was purchased by a local couple who are planning to re-open the business as a pub / restaurant once a refurbishment of the premises has been carried out.

Situated approx. 5 miles south of Peterborough, the Farmers Bar & Grill was sold on behalf of a private client who have operated the business since 2003 and felt it was time to retire. The business was purchased by experienced restaurant operators who have other settings within the region.

This longstanding seafront establishmenthas been sold to a local buyer who have very exciting plans. The new owner, who is purchasing the hotel as part of a lifestyle change, acquires the property after 22 years of ownership by the previous owner. The guide price was £865,000 and we had a number of viewings from a wide variety of parties on a nationwide basis.

Linked to the famous Westerham Brewery, the Royal Oak attracted much interest and has been sold to local investors keen to continue the existing business for the benefit of the community.

Situated on the outskirts of Beccles, a mid-Suffolk market town, the Caxton Arms was sold on behalf of a corporate client and completed within eight weeks of agreeing terms. The property generated 10 viewings consisting of experienced operators and residential developers. The buyer plans to refurbish and reopen as a licensed premises within the coming months.

A former Whitbread and Youngs site, Fleurets negotiated the off-market sale of the Wig & Gown in Dartford for our landlord clients.The substantial Grade 2 listed building is situated in the town centre and was originally a court house. Completion took place within only four weeks of the sale being agreed.

A new lease was granted on this closed pub to First Restaurant Group, making it their sixth site. A best bids deadline attracted numerous offers from multi-site operators. The pub will now be fully refurbished and is set to open in October 2024 as 'The Old Farmhouse,' featuring four boutique bedrooms.This freehold sale was handled by Elysia Wilson-Gunn in the London office on behalf of a private client.

Situated within the Town Centre of Hadleigh, Suffolk, the Ram was sold on behalf of a corporate client. The property received a significant level of interest from experienced operators, first time buyers and those looking to convert to an alternative use. The buyer plans to refurbish and reopen as a pub/restaurant within the coming months.

The Builders Arms is located in the affluent and highly desirable London suburban town of Teddington which was voted "the best place to live in London (2021)". It is an attractive Victorian end of terrace corner public house located on an attractive residential road, only a five minute walk from the High Street and approximately ½ mile from Teddington in one direction and the River Thames in the other. Fleurets have sold the freehold interest to a local resident who intends to reopen the pub after an investment to recreate a busy local community pub.

Fleurets were instructed by a well-known pub company to dispose of a freehold asset, located within Greater London. The marketing plan involved speaking to named parties with information about the pub being provided upon receipt of a signed non-disclosure agreement. Instructions to start the process were received in March, an offer was accepted in April with an exchange of contracts in May and completion last week and within the agreed timescale. As such the project was completed within 3 months from initials conversations to key handover.

Acting on behalf of private clients, Fleurets secured a lease assignment to Lakedown, a craft beer brewery based on Roger Daltrey's Sussex estate. Lakedown's first pub, the Eight Bells is delightfully situated in this affluent small town in the Kentish Weald and will continue to feature quality local produce on its menus, to compliment their excellent drinks range.

The Sole & Heel was a two storey property which with a trade area presented in reasonable condition. Fleurets were instructed in January 2024 to find a buyer for the freehold property and 22 viewings took place in February. A sale was agreed to a local multi-site operator who completed the deal within four weeks of agreeing terms and who plans to extend the building.

This roadside site on the busy A27 is owned by the Firle Estate and we assigned the leasehold interest on behalf of the existing tenant to a multiple operator.The pub attracted a lot of interest from a wide range of parties. The pub is currently closed but an extensive refurbishment plan will start shortly.

This public house is located on a prominent corner position in central Brighton which attracts over 8.5 M visitors a year. Fleurets marketed the freehold interest of the closed pub, during which time it generated a number of viewings with a wide range of offers received. The property completed to Moretons Investments, who will be looking for a tenant to bring the pub back to its former glory after a substantial investment.

This public house was sold in a confidential sales process by identifying specific parties as potential purchasers. As an open and trading site, conducting this disposal off market allowed trade to continue uninterrupted. This public house is located within the idyllic setting of the fishing reservoirs within Marsworth. It had scope for expansion with past planning permission gained for growing the trading areas. This freehold was sold for continued use as a wet led public house, with the benefit of a substantial outdoor trading space and a large car park. Having sold the Cock Inn, Nr Haywards Heath, East Sussex to a couple in 2017, Nick Earee from our South office remained in contact and watched this great community pub thrive. Nearly seven years later he went on to act on their behalf to secure the freehold sale. During its time on the market, Fleurets approached a number of operators that the pub may be suited to with it finally completing to Trust Inns, joining their growing portfolio.
