Fleurets announced as EGi's Most Active Leisure & Hotels agent for 2018
For the third year in a row, Fleurets has been announced as the agent to have completed the most sales in the Leisure & Hotels sector. Furthermore, Fleurets also came first in the North West, North East, Yorks & Humberside, West Midlands, East and South East.
Three new RockFish restaurants to open in 2019
Food writer and restaurateur Mitch Tonks has announced plans for three new sites for his award winning Devon restaurant brand RockFish. With all three sites due to open in 2019, the first will open on the 18th March in The Exeter Quay, with Weymouth and Poole sites opening later in the year. As reported by The Caterer, the brand aims to expand by 16 sites in total over the next four years.
EPIC secures refinancing package to fund UK expansion
EPIC, the Liverpool hotel operator, has secured a multi-million pound refinancing package to fund development plans in other UK cities. Boutique Hotelier reports that the group currently owns and operates three aparthotels in Liverpool and that the refinancing will also contribute towards a development in Liverpool's Duke Street.
Gingerman to open new Brighton restaurant
Gingerman, the Sussex-based restaurant group, is set to open its fifth site next month, the Flint House located in Brighton's Hanningtons Lane. As reported by Propel, the group, founded in 1998, now has four existing businesses, with its flagship site, The Gingerman, in Norfolk Square.
Star Pubs & Bars to invest £14.2m in managed operator pubs
As reported by Pub and Bar Magazine, Star Pubs & Bars is to invest £14.2m in its Just Add Talent managed operator pubs. Furthermore the pub company has announced that it will be increasing its number of venues to 150 by the end of 2019. The investment will be spent on converting pubs to Just Add Talent sites and £1.2m will be invested in upgrading existing Just Add Talent units.

Za, the new grab-and-go brand from Pizza Express has opened its first site in Fenchurch Street, London. The Caterer reports that the new brand will serve slices of the most popular pizzas as well as all-day dining and breakfast options.
