Corbin & King to open three new restaurants
Corbin & King has revealed details of its next three restaurants, reports The Caterer. The group's next site will be Manzi's, a pescatarian restaurant situated in Soho, which will open at the end of May. This will be followed by a venue housed in the former House of Fraser on King William Street, which is estimated to open in early 2021. The third site will be situated in the former RBS building in Notting Hill.
Foxhills in Surrey to be extended
Foxhills Country Club & Resort in Surrey, is to commence work on a £7m extension. Michaelis Boyd, the architects behind Soho Farmhouse, will lead the project, called The Pavillion. Boutique Hotelier reports that the extension will open next year and include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a crèche, soft play and kids den, a games room, fitness and spinning facilities as well as three studios for dance. There will also be an art studio and a new restaurant, within a Victorian walled garden.
Côte plans expansion
Restaurant chain Côte is planning further expansion, following a review of its estate. Big Hospitality reports that the casual dining group saw pre-tax profits increase to £5.5m, from £4.6m for the year ending 28th July 2019. Furthermore revenue increased to £156.9m, a 7% increase; whilst EBITDA also increased to £18.4m.
What The Pitta! to open in Manchester
What The Pitta!, the vegan doner kebab concept, is set to open a site in Mancheter, reports Propel. The brand currently operates four sites in the south east: Camden Town in London, Brighton as well Boxpark Shoreditch and Croydon. The Manchester site will mark the brand's first site in the North, and open in the Northern Quarter in May.
Windsor & Eton Brewery opens fourth site
Windsor & Eton Brewery has opened a pub in Virginia Water, Surrey, having secured the leasehold. Propel reports that The Rose & Olive Branch marks the brewery's fourth site, joining The George in Eton, The Old Court in Windsor as well as a taproom at its brewery on the Vansittart Estate in Windsor.
