Like-for-like sales reported in managed pubs were behind those in the managed bar and restaurant sector, figures have found. According to the latest Coffer CGA Business Tracker, bars was the strongest of the three sectors for March sales with like-for-like sales growth of 8% with restaurants showing 6% and pubs at 2% reports Morning Advertiser.
Canadian coffee and doughnut chain Tim Hortons is to open its first London site later this year. It will launch a 4,209 sq ft location in Park Royal, west London. Tim Hortons launched its first UK restaurant in Glasgow in 2017 and now has more than 51 sites nationwide with flagship locations in Birmingham, Belfast, and Leicester, advises The Caterer. Indoor mini-golf brand Puttstars will open its fifth location in a new leisure extension at Queensgate Shopping Centre in Peterborough.
