Fleurets is pleased to announce the recent completion of Foresters Arms in Fairwarp, the affluent and desirable village near Uckfield, East Sussex. The village is also only two miles north of Maresfield and is close to the Nutley Windmill, Piltdown and Crowborough Beacon golf clubs, Brickfield Meadow Nature Reserve and many other visitor attractions.
Fleurets secured a purchaser off the guide price of £575,000. The property has now completed to Wingrove House Ltd, a hospitality and leisure group.
Phil Lewin, Director of Wingrove House said, "We are delighted to now have the responsibility of owning the Foresters, a truly great traditional country pub in the Ashdown Forest and the beautiful village of Fairwarp.
"We plan to work with the Foresters team in raising the customer experience by delivering an exciting new food and beverage offering, longer operating hours as well as interior and exterior improvements. Dave and his team look forward to welcoming everyone to the Foresters and making many new friends.
"We are very grateful to Nick and the Fleurets teams' help in achieving this opportunity for us."
Nick Earee, Divisional Director of Fleurets South commented, "We expected to see good levels of interest and were not disappointed. This delightful village pub close to the Ashdown Forest attracted early interest with 12 formal viewings and a number of offers from existing operators received at the closing date."
