Fleurets is delighted to announce the successful sale of the iconic pub Farr's School of Dancing, Dalston, in a deal that has now completed to Safe Haven London.
Safe Haven London is a charity that works with carefully selected housing partners, supporting projects that alleviate homelessness and reduce housing poverty.
Situated on Dalston Lane, the former Farr's School of Dancing is a historic site that once served as a dance academy in the late 1930s. It remains a local landmark, featuring the iconic Hackney Peace Carnival Mural, one of London's most celebrated pieces of outdoor art.
Safe Haven London will continue to operate the site as a public house and simultaneously explore opportunities that align with its mission.
Andy Frisby, Fleurets Director & Head of Central London Agency, commented: "We are very pleased to have facilitated the sale of this iconic property. This pub has been part of the fabric of Dalston for some years now, and its acquisition by Safe Haven London fits perfectly with the ethos of the area and the prominent presentation of the building. It will be exciting to see the evolution of such a significant landmark site."
