Mitre Hotel at Hampton Court sold to Signet Hotel Group
The sale of the freehold interest of the Mite Hotel, Hampton Court, has completed, having been under family ownership for nearly 30 years. The Mitre Hotel was jointly marketed by Fleurets and Christie and Co; and sold to Signet Hotel Group, a newly formed partnership spearheaded by Hector Ross. Read the full story here.
Boparan plans for expand Slim Chickens
Boparan Restaurant Group has confirmed it is entering talks with potential partners with intents to accelerate the growth of their Slim Chickens brand across the UK and Ireland. Propel reports that stores in London, Birmingham, Cardiff and Bristol were trading above expectations. A seventh store will open in Bluewater, Kent, next month.
Hawthorn leisure acquires 29 pubs from Marston's
NewRiver REIT's pub arm, Hawthorn Leisure has acquired a package of 29 pubs from Marston's for an undisclosed sum. Hawthorn's estate will now surpass 700 pubs, reports The Morning Advertiser.
D&D London secures Birmingham site as part of regional expansion
D&D London has secured its first site in Birmingham, agreeing terms on a 25-year lease of the 103 Colmore Row development, reports Propel. The site will become the city's tallest office building, with D&D launching a rooftop restaurant with panoramic views.
Daniel Thwaites purchases two Lancashire pubs

Cocotte, the French-style 'farm-to-table' rotisserie concept, is set to open its third London restaurant in early March. Big Hospitality reports that the new restaurant will be located in Parsons Green and will join existing sites in Notting Hill and Shoreditch as well as delivery-only units in Battersea and Islington.
